Papaya

The papaya is an attractive fruit that consumers associate with the tropics: pear-shaped, with a thin skin that is golden yellow. The juicy flesh underneath the skin is orange-red. The hollow space in the interior of the papaya is filled with black seeds.

Transport and storage: Golden papayas are transported refrigerated and stored at a temperature of 10˚C.
